Neck Manes

Neck Manes shifts between individual object and larger installation, whether worn on the body or collectively installed on the wall. At once sensual and assertive, the works begin with the codes of formal dress and unfold into organic sculptural forms, remaining suspended between softness and structure, adornment and sculpture.

Like clothing itself, each piece becomes a small act of self-invention, balancing vulnerability and display, protection and performance.
