Jenny Eisenpresser is an interdisciplinary artist based in New York City. Before transitioning to a full-time studio practice, she worked as a book cover designer in publishing, an experience that continues to inform her interest in paper, text, and image. Working across painting, installation, handmade paper, and writing, she explores processes of accumulation, transformation, and the creation of temporary forms through light and language. Through sustained attention, discarded materials, handwritten notes, fragments of text, and the traces of making become something else. She received a BFA in Fine Arts and a BA in Art History from Cornell University, and an MFA from ArtCenter College of Design.
